Gross Motor Skills – The use of the school parachute is a fun “indoor” activity. This is one more way to use gross motor and positional skills. Numerous concepts are concretely reinforced as the children maneuver the parachute -high, low, up, down, in, out, and on top, under, fast and slow. Ask your child to tell you about the parachute.

Cutting Fun -We have begun to use scissors. How to hold scissors is very important. Ask them which fingers go in the holes and which finger holds on.
